Hire Gear
For many years, MUST has offered a hire service to its members with the aim of providing good quality equipment at rates that students can afford. The service has been popular and recently the club refurbished the Hire Room with new bindings, and we are about to invest in some more boots, helmets, and premium boards for general hire in 2012.
We also run special discounts for groups and college trips.
The club has 50 sets of boots, boards and bindings that are available for hire and are all brands such as Burton, Forum, Ride, Nitro, Drake, Northwave… and more. This equipment is gear tried by members and approved by members. Our Hire Managers ensure that all equipment is serviced and ready to hit the slopes before it leaves the hire room. We have a range of sizes for the smallest lady to the largest man.
This service runs from the fall of the first flake 'til the final run of the season and is located in the Sports Centre Tunnel (D18 on the campus map). For bookings, contact our Hire Manager (Stefanos Kan) at skana@student.unimelb.edu.au to organise a time for a fitting.
